Garland and Beverly Bilbo are grateful to those who have reached out to inquire regarding the impact of Hurricane Ida on their family, home and churches.
Gratefully, their family’s homes sustained very minimal damage including: the loss of shingles, fences and several trees that were downed.
Praise Church of New Orleans received some water inside the building.
Praise Church of Ascension lost half of it’s roof and the ceiling has caved in - in that portion of the building.
Like so many others, the Bilbos and their church will have quite a bit of clean-up to do before they are able to host church services. However, they project to open the doors for worship and begin reaching out to the community as soon as they have the roof tarped, finish clean-up, and receive the restoration of electrical power.
The Bilbos are heartbroken for those in their region who have suffered tremendous losses.
Right now, many residents in New Orleans and those living in surrounding communities, do not have access to groceries or drinking water.
We are making plans now to serve, as and where the opportunity arises - as the funds and supplies come in.
Many caring individuals have reached out, asking how they can help.
If God lays it on your heart to sow a seed to assist with the church renovations, and to provide outreach to others, your donation will be greatly appreciated.
You may make a tax-deductible donation via the following:

Thank you again!
Garland and Beverly Bilbo
Mark your calendars for these great events coming up.
