Marquise teaches fourth grade at Lusher Charter School. Marquise is a very high achiever. In 2008 she earned a degree in Communications from Loyola University, graduation summa cum laude, with GPA of 3.98. Then she worked as a sales executive before joining teachNOLA in 2010.
Marquise was inspired to teach because she knew firsthand thedifference between a failing school and a high-performing one: “As a teacher, I can singlehandedly change scene’s life - that’s my motivation every day.” Marquise, along with her husband Marcus, serve as Outreach Pastors at Praise Church of New Orleans. In addition, she serves in leadership at Praise Church of New Orleans as: - Child Evangelism Teacher - Small Group/Sync Group Co-Director - Youth and Young Adult Leader - Lay Minister - Worship Team Member - Judah Force Member Marquise is a wonderful wife to her husband, Marcus. They are committed parents to their precious daughters, Makaila, Makenzie, and their son, Maxwell.
